Luca was awesome! So much knowledge and experience to help us students all improve our freediving skills and safety knowledge. I would highly recommend Sea to Sky!

Luca organized a fantastic trip to Dominica that combined a deeper understanding of freediving with a deeply relaxing exploration of a truly magical island. The group size was small and made for personalized instruction and lasting friendships. The techniques we learned on this trip have drastically improved how I dive. Luca is a wonderful teacher with a lot of passion for the sport. I would highly recommend Luca as a free diving coach and tour organizer.

I did my Wave1 with Luca and joined a fantastic group of people for one of his very memorable Dominica Training Camps.Luca is knowledgeable and has a distinct passion for freediving that shines through in his coaching style. If you like spontaneity and experiential learning that is rooted in both the physiology and psychology of freediving, then Luca is your guy. Highly recommended!

My wife and I recently did a Red Sea diving excursion with Luca at Sea to Sky Freediving. It was unbelievable! We started out as absolute beginners. But with Luca's patient and highly effective training and adjustments, we both reached a depth of 26.1m (about 86 feet)!We dove in the most stunning reef systems with brightly colored fish, sting rays, reef sharks, turtles, 2 species of dolphins and even a sail fish. The people we dove with are now like our international dive family. I can't say enough great things about our experience with Luca and Sea to Sky Freediving.

I recently took an AIDA 2 course with Luca, and it was a great experience. Luca is a passionate instructor, and is eager to share his knowledge with his students. He focused on calmness and relaxation, and gave us gentle encouragement to overcome our difficulties while always reminding us that we are in control and can stop an exercise at any time. As someone who was not initially fully at ease in open water, his approach made it much easier for me to progress and succeed.Luca always took time to ensure we were comfortable and that we were absorbing the lessons, while keeping safety as his top priority. As a bonus, his science background is close to mine and he was able to elaborate on topics when I asked for more details. I thoroughly enjoyed learning a new and very interesting sport from Luca!

I joined the Sea to Sky Freediving Co.'s freediving camp held Jan 16-22, 2023, based in Soufriere, Dominica. Our freediving coach Luca Malaguti made this a highlight of a lifetime! I turn 65 in July/2023 and admit I found it challenging at times, yet totally invigorating and motivating (excited to get up and go out to the platform again each morning). A fun, healthy and educational week!Luca is a wonderful coach, with a safety-first mindset, that never pushes you to go out of your comfort zone, yet encourages you every step of the way of your individual journey, and through building your knowledge of the physical aspects and mindfulness of freediving gets you to put into practice the techniques he teaches you, building confidence and turning them into skills you didn't think you had"

Luca is a great instructor, the thing I appreciate the most is his focus on the mental components of free diving. He's also very attentive to your specific needs and I find will often give you exactly the right advice you need to hear at any given moment.

Amazing experience! I join Luca for one week in Egypt to dive in the red sea. Luca is such a good instructor and during the week we had to opportunity to make fun dive (dolphins, coral, wreck..)training, and go further in our practice (equalization workshop)I Will definitely join him again, thank you for this perfect week!

Freediving aside, Luca may very well be one of the best teachers and coaches out there. He is extremely patient when patience is needed yet he has an ability to motivate in a way that very few can. He is able to breakdown overwhelming concepts and situations into very small and attainable pieces and by doing so, he allows his students to overcome fears and challenges one small but meaningful step at a time.Freediving specifically, I just completed my wave 2 with Luca and could not be happier. He gave the time needed to own the new depths we were hitting while still challenging us to grow and improve both physically, but even more importantly at this stage, mentally.I highly recommend that anyone, regardless of if they want to get into freediving, take a course with Luca as the ability to understand how much of an impact your mind has on every aspect of your body is just as impactful as the new PBs you will inevitably hit!

My wife and I did AIDA 3 & 4 with Luca. He is a phenomenally talented instructor and an even better coach. He was able to figure out what exactly we needed each day, and coordinated easy session to provide us with the right surroundings & input to have the experience we needed. I highly recommend training with Luca. As a bonus he integrates his own knowledge, experience & research in body awareness, health, nutrition & good post dive recovery. Highly recommend!
